Recap of the Carnival!

One Community, Many Generations Carnival 2026

Bringing Generations Together, Building a Stronger Community

On 19 September 2026, Impactworks Community Services Ltd. held its inaugural One Community, Many Generations Carnival at the Hard Court in Yishun, bringing together approximately 600 residents, beneficiaries and carnival-goers, alongside 11 community organisations and partners.

The carnival marked a meaningful milestone in the launch of Impactworks’ community outreach efforts, transforming the neighbourhood space into a lively gathering place for people of different ages, backgrounds and walks of life.

We were honoured to have our Guest of Honour, Mr Jackson Lam, Adviser to Nee Soon GRC Grassroots Organisations, grace the carnival with his presence. His attendance added significance to the occasion as residents, community partners and volunteers came together to celebrate the spirit of unity, inclusiveness and community engagement.

The event featured a variety of carnival games, recreational activities, community engagement booths and opportunities for residents to discover local initiatives. Through the participation of community organisations, attendees could learn about programmes covering active ageing, youth empowerment, social support, environmental sustainability and community well-being.

One of the highlights was the opportunity for children, youths, adults and seniors to interact through shared activities, including North Pool and carnival games. The gathering also provided an opportunity for neighbours to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Beyond the festivities, the carnival served as a platform for collaboration. Participating organisations showcased their work, engaged residents and explored opportunities to strengthen community partnerships within Yishun.

The event was supported by the SG Partnerships Fund and held in partnership with Chong Pang Community Club, with generous contributions from sponsors, community partners and dedicated volunteers who helped bring the event to life.

For Impactworks, the carnival represented more than a one-day celebration. It was an important first step towards building relationships, strengthening inter-generational connections and creating opportunities for continued community engagement.

One Community, Many Generations reflected the heart of Impactworks’ mission — demonstrating love and care through meaningful action, bringing people together and nurturing a stronger, more connected community.

Love in Action. Lives Transformed.
